La Nuit des Cordes, 2014–2021, is a Canadian event in the bakushi / kinbaku ecosystem.

Montreal annual rope event founded by Ebi McKnotty and Dunter, documented by the 2021 edition page as running since 2014 during Nuit Blanche / Montréal en Lumière. The 2021 page frames the event as a large public evening for alternative rope art, with simultaneous performances, circus, erotic bondage, acrobatic and decorative rope, photography exhibition context, and artists from Montreal, Quebec City, Ottawa, Toronto, the US and Europe. Modeled as Ebi's event-founder bridge rather than a broad roster hub.

Caveats

Inclusion is selective: a person or studio appears only when there's enough public evidence to anchor them meaningfully. Missing birth years are deliberate — many practitioners don't publicise them. Errors and gaps will exist; corrections welcome at pussynawa@proton.me.
