Dutch nawashi and teacher Bob Roos, based in Amsterdam and operating as RopeMarks. His own RopeMarks Ryū page says he started studying and professionally specializing in Japanese rope bondage in 1999, studied in Japan under the lineages of Denki Akechi and Naka Akira, and teaches worldwide across Europe, the USA, Russia and Japan. RopeMarks is known for dynamic suspensions, energetic performances, a distinct personal style built from traditional Japanese bondage techniques, and hands-on RopeMarks Ryū courses / masterclasses. The site documents a long event trail through RopeFest, Moscow Knot, EURIX, Prague Shibari Festival, Shibari Lounge, Kinbaku Studio Vienna, Pinse Camp, Onawa Asobi Europe and BalkanBound.
