The official About page explicitly connects the shop name to Esinem's performances and teaching, lists his study with Japanese teachers, and frames the shop as a response to the difficulty of finding good shibari rope at sensible prices. The current shop sells jute, hemp and semenawa rope, with Clara Premium jute as a flagship product also stocked by BondageRope.EU. Caveats
