2020s shibari-use trace
Era: 2020s
Spun-polyester POSH rope by Langman Ropes, modeled as a shibari material rather than as the whole Dutch rope factory. Langman's official POSH page presents it as a soft-grip, low-stretch, UV-resistant polyester rope originally oriented to nautical / decorative applications. Shibari Study's synthetic-rope guide identifies POSH as a Langman-developed rope adopted by the rope community and widely used for uplines because of its higher breaking strength and low stretch; Corneum and BondageRope.EU currently sell POSH for shibari use. Added as material infrastructure because it is a named synthetic rope material with current studio / platform / stockist traces.
