French rope switch and one of the foundational voices of the European shibari scene. Real name Marika Leila Roux. Professional shibari model and rigger with 10+ years of intense practice, performing worldwide. Approach is deeply informed by yoga and other bodywork. Co-founded Shibari Study with Anton Martin in 2019, bringing the shibari know-how and contacts while Anton brought vision and operations. Known for a contemporary, research-driven approach treating suspension as choreography and the body-in-rope as sculptural language. In 2016 initiated 'Study on Falling', an ongoing aesthetic and philosophical performance research presented on major stages including the Opéra Garnier (Paris). Her public Gorgone Rope Salon channel documents current private lessons, sessions, tour dates and a guesthouse-based shibari experience in Ardèche, France.
