Saikatsu (斎勝)

Saikatsu (斎勝), 1940–2024, was a Japanese nawashi in the Akechi lineage.

NAWASHI

Japanese nawashi (1940 - 1 July 2024), remembered as a close confidant and long-time assistant to Akechi Denki. Born in Kanazawa and drawn to rope through pink films and SM magazines in the 1960s, he began tying later after helping Akechi. Taught at Black Heart in Ginza, published how-to articles in SM Mania Club, and remained active at Bakuyukai, the rope space founded by Akechi Denki and later carried on by Miura Takumi. Valued in the Japanese scene for patient teaching and deep historical memory.
