Russian nawashi, teacher, photographer and organizer; founder of Shibari Club Yugen and RopeSchool, creator of the ArtCo rope-event umbrella, and author of the Shibari.Guru online lesson / performance-archive project. Started tying in 2009, largely self-taught through workshops with Russian, European, and Japanese riggers. Received Osada-ryu certification in 2015. RopeSchool identifies him as founder and instructor, while the ArtCo / RopeFest Petersburg source says he created ArtCo to educate and support a careful approach to shibari through classes, festivals and rope evenings in Moscow and Saint Petersburg. Shibari.Guru's About page says its video lessons are based on the RopeSchool course and Boris Mosafir's additional author seminars, with performance videos from ArtCo-organized events and other shibari masters. Has organised seminars with Akira Naka, Hajime Kinoko, Riccardo Wildties, Bruce Esinem, and others. ShibariNews also credits him with organizing Russian events such as RopeFest, RopeDay, BondageCafe, NawaYoi, Fetish Faculty and RopeNight.
