Saint Petersburg-based rope artist, teacher and organizer. RopeFest / RopeSchool sources identify Karol Soulrope as an instructor at the Saint Petersburg branch of RopeSchool and as the organizer responsible for RopeFest Saint Petersburg and Bondage Cafe within the ArtCo ecosystem. RopeFest Moscow 2019 billed Karol as a Saint Petersburg presenter on the main stage and teacher of two shibari seminars; Karol's bio there says their rope practice began in 2011 and frames tying as a sensual, deep dialogue with a partner. RopeSchool's Karol profile says she completed basic Shibari training in the Osada Ryu school system and received a certificate in 2015; the same profile lists Bondage Cafe and Yugen Shibari Convention among her active-scene performance contexts.
